How do custom orders work?
  1. Fill in our custom pendant form to begin. Click “Request Quote”.
  2. Receive a quote from our team. We will review your submission and respond with a quote within 8 hours.
  3. After accepting our quote, we require a 25% down payment to get started on your 3D CAD design for your piece. You can request as many revisions as needed until the design is perfect. The remaining three payments will be required over a 6 week period.
  4. Once design is confirmed, production starts immediately and takes about 2-4 weeks. During this time, we can send you progress updates.
  5. When your custom jewelry is ready, we’ll ship it via insured FedEx Express within
    approximately 4 business days. It arrives in a custom jewelry box, adding an extra touch of elegance.

Please read carefully before your purchase. Gold by G genuinely wishes you will be satisfied with any and every purchase you make with us. With that said, every piece of jewelry purchased through our site is considered a custom order, crafted for you and can take several days and weeks to make depending on the complexity of the design.

That being said, Gold by G must uphold a no refund policy for these purchases. However, some items can be returned for partial credit or exchange (limit one exchange per order) if the item isn’t altered or engraved in any way. Items that do not meet these requirements will not qualify for a partial credit return or exchange.

Buyers will be responsible for refinishing or restocking and all non refundable shipping fees. In the very rare event that your product arrives damaged, please notify me immediately at graham.ross@goldbyg.com within 48 hours of delivery. Please include your name, order number, written description of damage, and pictures of the damage in the email.

If the claim is accepted, an email will be sent to you with return instructions, and all following shipping costs will be waived by us on the order. Please understand, these policies are aimed toward avoiding theft, various types of fraud, and production costs that cannot be refunded in the event of ‘buyer remorse.’

 At Gold by G, every piece is carefully crafted with the highest attention to quality, detail, and craftsmanship. We proudly stand behind our work and are pleased to offer a one-year limited warranty on all of our jewelry.

What This Warranty Covers
 This warranty protects you against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, including:

  • Structural flaws in the design or craftsmanship.
  • Loose stones caused by improper setting.
  • Broken clasps, prongs, or other hardware defects attributable to manufacturing.

 

What This Warranty Does Not Cover

To maintain fairness and protect against misuse, this warranty does not cover:

  • Loss, theft, or mysterious disappearance of your jewelry.
  • Damage caused by accidents, misuse, or improper care.
  • Typical wear and tear (e.g., scratches, dents, or thinning of bands).
  • Damage caused by unauthorized alterations, resizing, or repairs performed by another jeweler.
  • Stones that have been lost due to trauma or forceful impact.

 

Conditions of Coverage

  • Warranty coverage applies only to the original purchaser of the item. Proof of purchase may be required.
  • Warranty claims are subject to inspection. If the issue is determined to be a manufacturing defect, Gold by G will repair or, if necessary, remake the item at no charge.
  • If damage is found to be outside of warranty coverage, we can provide repair services at a reasonable cost. A quote will be given before any work is performed.
  • If the design requires a full remake (for example, eternity bands that cannot be resized), a remake fee starting at $500 will apply.

 

Filing a Warranty Claim

To initiate a warranty claim, please contact us at graham.ross@goldbyg.com with:

  • Your order number.
  • A description of the issue.
  • Photos and/or video showing the defect.

Once reviewed, we will provide next steps, including shipping instructions. All shipping to and from our studio is the customer’s responsibility.

Important Notes

  • Regular maintenance (such as cleaning and prong tightening) is part of responsible jewelry care and is not included in this warranty.
  • We reserve the right to refuse warranty claims if we believe the issue is due to misuse, neglect, or intentional damage.
  • This warranty gives you specific legal rights and is non-transferable.

We provide free UPS or FedEx Express mail. Shipping time typically takes 2-3 business days. All packages are insured and are required to be signed upon delivery.
